Hi there!
I'm Rylee Petit, a proud First Nations woman with roots in Cumberland House Cree Nation, SK, and Manitoba (Swampy Cree & Anishinaabe). For over two decades, I've called Saskatoon (Treaty 6 Territory) home.
First and foremost, I'm a dedicated wife and mother to two wonderful children. Thanks to the unwavering support of my incredible husband, I had the privilege of staying at home to raise my kids. It was a demanding yet rewarding experience, but I craved for another challenge.
Yearning for a professional outlet while cherishing my role as a stay-at-home mom, I stumbled upon a part-time position with a cleaning company. That's where my passion for cleaning blossomed. It wasn't just about tidying up; it became a journey of learning how to care for and respect homes and their contents. Witnessing the transformation after a thorough cleaning brought immense satisfaction. It's fulfilling to contribute to the comfort of someone's home.
Between nurturing my family and discovering my passion for cleaning, I found solace and creativity in beading. During my downtime, especially while my children slept, I delved into crafting jewelry and accessories. It's been four incredible years, not just creating but immersing myself in self-discovery and connecting with my cultural roots through this art form.
As my children grew more independent, I began contemplating my own path. After months of pondering, questioning, and a bit of procrastination, Deadly Cleaning was born in the winter of 2022. The process of developing logos and visual themes sparked a fire within me. Life momentarily paused my plans, but in May 2023, I took the plunge.
Deadly Cleaning isn't just a business; it's my way of crafting a career that allows me the flexibility to be there for my children whenever they need me. I wanted to break free from the conventional 9-5 routine and create something that resonates deeply with my values. I'm immensely grateful to every client who's chosen to work with me—your support fuels my passion. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
